About the municipality
Brzozie is called the most beautiful municipality in Poland. There are nine lakes over 10 ha in its area, including Wielkie Leźno, Janówko, Sosno, Głęboczek and Sopień. Sopień attracts anglers, and Janówko is famous for perch and eels.
The municipality includes parts of the Brodnica and Górzno-Lidzbark Landscape Parks, as well as the Drwęca valley — great for kayak trips.
Brzozie has medieval roots — the first mentions date back to the 14th century. Today it's a municipality of active recreation: a Water-Park Complex with a Bike Park, the Wild Dinosaur Trail, themed playgrounds, an indoor gym, nature tours by electric melex, a Virtual Shooting Range, a Recording Studio with an auditorium and the Local Chamber of Remembrance.
