About the commune
Świedziebnia lies in the eastern part of Brodnica County, between Brodnica and Rypin, in the historic Dobrzyń Land. The first mention of the settlement dates back to 1356. It is an agricultural commune known for milk production and fruit growing.
Part of the commune lies within the Górzno-Lidzbark Landscape Park. Wetlands, peat bogs, a belt of moraine hills, clean lakes and forests attract people seeking recreation in nature as well as anglers. Quiet roads and walking areas are well suited to cycling.
