Tourism reimagined
Tourism is changing. The way we search for a place to relax, plan a trip, book accommodation, choose attractions and evaluate a stay is changing. Tools based on artificial intelligence mean that increasingly we no longer only ask: “where should we go?”, but: “where can I find what I need right now?”
By creating the pilot portal brodnickie.io, we want to use this change to the benefit of both visitors and people running businesses here.
The project is driven by practitioners with many years of experience in serving tourist traffic, supported by new technology specialists. We chose the Brodnickie Lake District for a reason. It is a relatively small area, yet extremely rich in lakes, forests, nature, history, active recreation and places where you can simply slow down. It also has potential that is still not fully exploited.

For You – Tourists
We don't want to overwhelm you with hundreds of random offers.
We first want to learn what kind of stay you are looking for. That's why the portal may ask a few questions about your plans, interests and expectations, and then suggest places and services in the Brodnickie Lake District that best match them.
The program presents offers from local entrepreneurs cooperating with the project. This makes it easier to find specific accommodation, dining, attractions, services and activities and to plan an entire stay from them.
There is also a discount-and-loyalty program. By using offers from project participants and discovering new places, you will be able to receive discounts, promotions, points and additional benefits offered by them.
Over time we want stays in the Brodnickie Lake District to become easier to plan, more predictable and more cost-effective.
And one rule is particularly important to us: you decide what you want to use. Participation in the program and sharing information about your preferences are voluntary.
For You – Local Entrepreneurs
This project was not created to replace entrepreneurs. It is meant to help tourists find you.
LOT of the Brodnickie Lake District builds a shared space where a tourist can get to know the region, define their needs, find an offer that matches them and be directed to a local entrepreneur – whether they run accommodation, a restaurant, a rental, a tourist attraction, a shop or provide other services useful during a stay.
The inspiration comes from models of local cooperation known from developed tourist regions such as Austria, Switzerland, Scandinavia or Canada: a tourist using one service should have a reason to use another, remaining a customer of the local economy for as long as possible.
Participation by an entrepreneur is voluntary. Cooperation, however, requires adherence to jointly agreed rules, defined in an individual agreement.
In return for presenting the offer, promoting it and directing traffic to program participants, we expect a real benefit for the tourist as well. Its basic form is discounts or other privileges for participants of brodnickie.io, and the scope of cooperation can be broader and tailored to the capabilities of a particular company.
We do not want to create another company directory. We want to build a local cooperation system where a satisfied tourist means a benefit for the next entrepreneur, and the success of entrepreneurs strengthens the whole Brodnickie Lake District.
This is a pilot
We will develop it together with tourists and local entrepreneurs – based on real experiences, not assumptions made behind a desk.
We presented the project at the 1st Tourism Forum in Pojezierze Brodnickie on 21 October 2026 in Zbiczno.
