Bobrowiska Nature Trail by the Skarlanka
Last updated: 12.10.2026
'Bobrowiska' is an educational walking trail of the Brodnica Landscape Park about 4 km long. It runs along the western bank of the Skarlanka River, north of Grzmięca.
Along the route you can see a hydroelectric power plant, a fish hatchery and a peat bog with sundew and marsh Labrador tea. Two families of beavers live along the Skarlanka – their presence is evidenced by numerous feeding traces (felled and gnawed trees), burrows and food stores. Along the trail there are also nearly 140-year-old pines with traces of former resin tapping.
At the start of the route there is a large information board. The trail is also used during Park events, including BioBlitz.
