Last updated: 12.10.2026

Zlot w Lipowie is an annual gathering of fans of Katarzyna Puzyńska's crime novels. The fictional Lipowo from her saga is based on Pokrzydowo in the Zbiczno municipality – during the gathering the village doubles its population, and readers come from all over Poland and abroad.

What happens at the gathering:

visiting locations known from the novels – Pokrzydowo, Brodnica, Bachotek, the area around Zbiczno, forests and lakes,

solving crime puzzles and a field game with an investigative kit,

meeting with the author, photos and autographs,

meetings with guests and other readers, an evening around the bonfire.

The gathering takes place in July; the jubilee, 10th edition took place 18–19 July 2026. Organizers cooperate with the publisher Prószyński i S-ka, the Zbiczno municipality and local partners. Information about the next edition and registration appears on the profile „Zloty w Lipowie” on Facebook.
